Public Notice: Notification of Approval of Local Planning Scheme Amendment No. 1

Pursuant to section 87 of the Planning and Development Act 2005, notice is hereby given that the Minister for Planning approved Amendment No. 1 to the Shire of Boddington Local Planning Scheme No. 3 on 3 August 2026.

 The amendment provides for:

• updating land use definitions and permissibilities relating to short term accommodation and tourist accommodation uses;
• amending development requirements for un hosted short term accommodation; and
• making consequential administrative and formatting amendments to the Scheme.

The approved amendment is available for inspection at the Shire of Boddington Administration Office, 39 Bannister Road, Boddington WA 6390, or via the Shire's website.
