The Dump Truck Display Project at the Old School Oval is progressing, with site works complete, including construction and curing of the engineered concrete mounting slab.

Plant collection for Stream 2: Backyard Tree Planting Program will take place this Saturday. Eligible households within the Shire of Boddington can collect one or two native trees at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis. Trees should be planted in suitable locations, either in the front or back yard.

The Shire's cleaning team encountered a snake inside the Hotham Park toilet block on the morning of Monday, 9 March 2026. The snake was safely contained and relocated to a more suitable natural environment. The Native Plant Subsidy and Backyard Tree Planting Initiative aims to increase native vegetation and boost shade canopy across the Shire of Boddington through voluntary participation from residents and landholders. The Shire has experienced significant loss of native vegetation due to historical land clearing, agricultural practices and mining activities. Leading to habitat fragmentation, reduced biodiversity, land degradation, declining landscape resilience and a lack of natural shade in many areas.

Several upgrades have been completed within a variety of community facilities and public sites throughout Boddington to enhance safety, visibility, and the overall appearance of public spaces.
