Time to pull out those picnic rugs! The Shire of Boddington proudly presents a free community screening of the new environmental awareness film 2040. This event is free for everyone to attend. In line with the theme of the movie, we are aiming for a zero waste event, please assist us with this by using washable containers wherever possible and recycling suitable items. The Eco Club, in partnership with the Boddington Riding Club, will be selling pop corn for $2 a scoop, BYO washable container and purchase a scoop or two of pop corn to be in the running to win a fabulous prize pack from local business None of Your Beeswax! The movie will start as soon as the sun has set to ensure premium viewing. This event is dog friendly, however dogs must remain on a leash at all times and must always be supervised by the owner. *This is a smoke-free, alcohol-free, drug-free event* Where: Boddington Old School Oval When: Saturday 26th October Time: Gates open from 6pm, movie will begin once the sun has set.

DOG ATTACKS

Two large mastiff type dogs, possibly brindle in color have on two separate occasions attacked and killed numerous sheep in the Crossman - Albany Hwy area. If anyone has any information about possible location of these dogs please contact Shire of Boddington ranger on 0428 838 025. These dogs are dangerous and should be reported immediately as they are not likely to stop at sheep and may pose a danger to children.
