Old Roller Project Update

Strip slabs have been laid to the southwest side of the Roads Board building where the Old Grader will soon be relocated to. The existing slab on the east side will be demolished to make way for a new shelter to house the Old Roller. The Mens Shed is looking at refurbishing the Old Roller ready for relocation once the works are complete.

Western Power is planning to replace the cross arm on one of the power poles near the caravan park. This work is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 17 June 2025, between 9 am and 12 pm. Please be aware that power may be interrupted at the caravan park during this time. Traffic control measures will be in place, and access to the caravan park may be restricted while the work is ongoing.

The Roller Display project has commenced with the initial step of preparing a new location for the old Grader, which is currently situated on the northeast side of the Roads Board building. Concrete slabs have been poured on the southwest side of the building, and once they have cured, the Grader will be moved there.
