We are pleased to offer camping for patrons of the 2024 Boddington Lions Rodeo. This year, we have implemented a new booking process:

  • Booking: FULLY BOOKED
  • Payment: All site fees must be paid at the time of booking.
  • Costs/Fees: $32 per adult, $10 per child
  • Site Selection: Choose a site that has 4 tickets available.
  • Group Bookings: To secure adjacent sites, ensure all group bookings are made simultaneously.
  • Occupancy: Each site accommodates a maximum of 4 persons. Multiple tents and swags are allowed within the allocated space.
  • Arrival & Departure: Sites are available from 2 PM Friday, 1 November, until 2 PM Sunday 3 November.
  • Site Dimensions: Each site measures 8m x 6m. Please ensure your equipment fits within this space.
  • Vehicle Limit: Each site allows a maximum of 2 vehicles (e.g., 1 car and 1 caravan/camper trailer, or 2 cars).
  • Power: Sites are unpowered. Generators are not permitted.
  • Site Changes: Sites may need to be changed at the discretion of the Shire of Boddington. You will be contacted if this is necessary.

Fundraising

Community groups and sporting clubs are invited to submit their written Expressions of Interest for one of four paid roles to assist with the arrival of temporary campers for this year’s Boddington Rodeo.

Core responsibilities will include:
• Welcoming temporary campers
• Checking temporary camping registration at entry and issuing their parking pass
• Direct temporary campers to their allocated spot
• Routinely check in with temporary campers

The shift will be from 1pm – 8pm on Friday, 1 November and is expected to require four-six volunteers to be on-site at a given time.

Expressions of Interest can be submitted for one of the four following temporary camping sites:
• Pollard Street (next to the Swimming Pool)
• Boddington DHS Oval
• RSL Memorial Park
• Boddington Caravan Park spare block (access from Pollard Street)

A Volunteer Pack and Volunteer Briefing Session will be provided to support the community group or sporting club being inducted into the role.
