Town Centre Revitalisation Project works are set to begin in late May, marking an exciting step towards a refreshed and more welcoming town centre for the Boddington community.
Construction will take place at Central Park and 32 Bannister Road, with works expected to continue through to mid September. Works at 32 Bannister Road will create a quality public open space on the main street, while improvements at Central Park will enhance the existing space for residents, families and visitors to enjoy.
During this time, Central Park playground and surrounding areas will be temporarily closed while construction teams and specialist trades deliver key improvements across the project area.
Residents and visitors can continue to enjoy nearby Hotham Park, including its playground and amenities, located approximately 200 metres from Central Park.
Community members are encouraged to stay up to date by following project updates through the Shire’s website and social media channels, and to observe all safety signage and directions in and around the project area.
This project is proudly supported through funding from the Australian Government Growing Regions Program and Lotterywest.
