The Shire of Boddington has been recognised by the Office of the Auditor General as one of the 2025 best practice entities for financial reporting and controls.
This recognition acknowledges the Shire’s performance across several important criteria, including a clear audit opinion, timely preparation of the CEO certified financial report, high quality financial reporting and working papers, and the maintenance of strong financial management controls.
The Shire’s best practice status was included in the Local Government 2025, Financial Audit Results tabled in Parliament.
This achievement is a strong reflection of the professionalism and commitment of the Shire’s team, and reinforces Council’s focus on sound governance, transparency and responsible financial management for the benefit of the Boddington community.
