Council has adopted an updated Community Grant Program Policy, making it easier for local groups to access funding and support for community-driven initiatives.
The revised policy increases the maximum grant available from $2,000 to $3,000 per financial year, recognising the rising cost of delivering projects. It also introduces the possibility of multiyear funding for established programs that have previously delivered strong outcomes. New assessment criteria will help prioritise projects that demonstrate clear community benefit, local partnerships, and alignment with Council’s strategic goals.
