The Residential Aged Care project continues to make positive progress toward delivering a residential aged care facility in Boddington, with work now moving into its next phase.
Small Long Term Care Homes has advised that it will not be proceeding with its proposal. While this marks a change in direction for the project, it has also created an opportunity to explore an alternative delivery pathway that is showing considerable promise.
A new and promising opportunity is now being advanced, with early discussions indicating the potential for a 40-bed residential aged care facility designed to accommodate future expansion as demand grows. The proposed model includes contemporary care services with a strong focus on supporting residents, including those requiring higher levels of care, such as dementia support.
The opportunity is being explored with an experienced provider with a strong regional presence and a track record in delivering and operating facilities of a similar scale. This provides confidence that the project can be delivered practically and sustainably, aligned with community needs.
Further updates will be provided as discussions progress, and the next steps are confirmed.
