As part of the Signage Strategy adopted by Council in 2022, the Shire has been working on installing two billboards along Albany Highway. These billboards aim to promote Boddington as a regional tourism destination in line with the Council Plan.
The Shire received approval for the applications to install these billboards in March 2025, and production began shortly after. Installation of the billboard foundations began on Wednesday, 16 July 2025, with completion of the billboards expected by the end of July 2025.
The billboards will be used to promote Boddington and provide directional information about specific attractions. They are designed to encourage visitors to detour off Albany Highway to stop and stay longer in Boddington.
