The Shire has been implementing recommendations from the Tourism Signage Strategy adopted by Council in 2022. As part of these recommendations, the two Visitor Information Boards within the Boddington townsite have been reviewed and updated to reflect the array of local landmarks, historical sites, activities, and events in Boddington, along with accommodation and dining options.
The new visitor information boards feature vibrant designs with impactful new imagery and QR codes that visitors can scan to access information on their phones. Corten steel was integrated into the design to age gracefully over time and enhance the surrounding areas.
The Visitor Information Boards are located at:
- Hotham Bridge, adjacent to Memorial Park.
- Truck Stop on Bannister-Marradong Road.
