The 793D Mining Dump Truck arrived at the Boddington Old School Oval on Wednesday, 22 April 2026. This delivery marks a major milestone in the Project and underscores Boddington’s rich mining heritage.
The next stage of work will include mounting the truck on concrete plinths, construction of pathways, and landscaping to enhance the surrounding area and visitor experience.
Community members are advised to avoid the area while site works are underway to ensure safety.
Once installation is complete, an official opening date will be announced and the truck will serve as a landmark for the community and a point of interest for visitors to the precinct.
The Shire extends its sincere thanks to Newmont Boddington Gold for the generous donation of the truck and for their valued support of this project.
