Local businesses and community groups are encouraged to bring their ideas to life through a range of grant funding opportunities offered by the Shire of Boddington. These programs are designed to support initiatives that strengthen the local economy, enhance wellbeing and contribute to a vibrant and connected community.
Business Assistance Grant Program
The Business Assistance Grant Program provides financial support to local businesses undertaking projects that deliver economic benefit. Funding of up to 50% of eligible project costs, to a maximum of $5,000, is available for initiatives such as place activation, crime prevention measures and shopfront improvements.
Community Grant Program
The Community Grant Program is available to incorporated community organisations seeking to deliver projects and activities that support an engaged, inclusive and healthy community. Funding of up to 75% of eligible project costs, to a maximum of $3,000, is available for initiatives that provide a clear benefit to the local community and economy.
Applications for both programs are open year-round, offering flexibility for applicants to seek support as opportunities arise. Community members are encouraged to consider how Grant funding could assist in delivering their next project, event or improvement.
Further information can be obtained by contacting the Community and Economic Development team, and application forms are available here.
