The Shire of Boddington invites Expressions of Interest from experienced hospitality operators for a lease opportunity within the Hotham Park Precinct. Conveniently located within the Boddington Library and Visitor Centre building, the site serves library users, park visitors, tourists and the wider community.
Following the redevelopment of Hotham Park, together with the introduction of six town murals and a new sculpture trail, Boddington continues to strengthen its profile as a regional tourism destination. This lease opportunity presents the potential to establish a business that enhances the activation, vibrancy and appeal of this key community precinct.
The premises previously operated as a cafe, however, the Shire is open to alternative proposals that support community needs and complement the precinct and local tourism sector.
Expressions of Interest should include:
- Proposed site use.
- Operating hours, with a minimum of 9.00 am to 4.00 pm, five days per week, including weekends, public holidays and seasonal flexibility.
- Staffing details.
- Relevant experience.
- Proposed lease term, anticipated to be three to five years.
- Fit out requirements.
- Financial consideration.
- A commitment to extended trading during local events.
