The Dump Truck Display Project at the Old School Oval is progressing, with site works complete, including construction and curing of the engineered concrete mounting slab.
Final arrangements for transport and placement of the dump truck are now underway. Installation is currently scheduled for late April, subject to final traffic management approvals. Any changes to the installation schedule will be communicated to the community.
Once installed, the truck will become a prominent landmark that recognises Boddington’s strong mining history and adds to the appeal of the precinct for visitors and the local community.
The Shire thanks Newmont Boddington Gold for the generous donation of the truck and its ongoing support for the project.
