Support will continue for one of Boddington’s most popular annual events—the Friday Night Festival and Saturday Street Parade—thanks to ongoing commitment from the Shire of Boddington.
At the June Council Meeting, it was resolved to allocate $10,000 per year for three years (2025–2027) to the Boddington Community Resource Centre to assist with the delivery of both events. The funding will help cover event costs such as entertainment, safety, marketing and traffic management, ensuring these community favourites continue to deliver vibrant, safe and engaging experiences.
These events not only celebrate Boddington’s local spirit but also boost tourism, support local business, and kick off the Rodeo weekend in style. Council’s decision reflects a strong commitment to community partnerships and to making Boddington a thriving destination for residents and visitors.
