In celebration of the International Day of People with Disability, Rebound WA will visit the Hotham Park Half Court on Friday, 5 December 2025, to run a Wheel Life basketball session. This fun and interactive afternoon will allow participants to learn new skills while gaining a firsthand understanding of what it’s like to live with a physical disability.

The 2025 Children’s Week Celebration was organised by the Boddington Early Years Network on Tuesday, 21 October 2025. This annual event raises awareness and celebrates every child’s right to relax, play, and engage in activities they enjoy. This year’s theme was: "Everyone Should Know About Children’s Rights". The celebration brought together approximately 70 local children and families in a safe, inclusive, and joyful environment, fostering connection and support throughout the Shire.

Apex Envirocare have completed dredging of the Hotham River. Dredging was carried out successfully with sediment now settling and drying out in the Geotubes at the laydown area.
