Last weekend there was lots of good food, relaxation and catch up at Boddington's much loved annual Christmas Celebration. It proved to be a great opportunity to shop local in the lead up to Christmas with Boddington Community Markets once again supporting the event and showcasing the talent of stallholders.
Boddington Eco Club and Boddington Family Support Group facilitated Christmas craft activities for the younger children, while older children enjoyed a new challenge with inflatables from A-Bonza-Bounce. Santa Claus and Boddington’s very own Elf on the Shelf made guest appearances throughout the evening, along with live music performed by Peter Delle-Coste and Christmas Carols led by Jim Nelson.
The Colouring and Gingerbread Competitions revealed the creativity and talent found in the community with an array of fantastic entries.
Congratulations to those won each category:
- Colouring (0 - 5 years): Lily Cowcher & Edith Swiftworthy
- Colouring (6 – 11 years): Matilda Rayner & Addyson
- Gingerbread Person (0 – 5 years): Harlow Rayner
