The recent Business After Hours event on Tuesday, 29 April 2025, brought together over 35 local business owners and representatives for an evening of connection, inspiration, and valuable information.
Held at All Walks of Life Café where attendees enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner and a tempting selection of desserts. This free, twice-yearly event is designed to keep local businesses informed about Shire projects that support economic development. Attendees received a helpful reminder about the Shire’s Business Assistance Grant and the support available through the Peel Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Boddington Police also gave a brief but important talk on business safety, sharing handouts with tips to protect premises and digital systems from scams and hackers. Business Coach and Consultant Bodo Frost from Project Reboot inspired guests with practical tips for business growth and resilience. The evening concluded with informal networking, where participants strengthened connections, introduced themselves, liaised with Shire staff and councillors, and engaged with guest speakers.
The next Business After Hours event will be held in November 2025.
