Construction has commenced on the new plaza area adjacent to the Celebrations store. The project is designed to improve the presentation, accessibility and overall amenity of the town centre, creating a more welcoming environment for residents, visitors and local businesses. During construction, community members may notice temporary changes around the work area. The Shire appreciates the community's patience and cooperation while these improvements are being delivered.
Works have also commenced on the Central Park upgrade, with the park closed for the duration of construction. The temporary closure is necessary to ensure the project can be completed safely and efficiently. Once complete, the upgraded park will provide an enhanced public space for families, community events and everyday recreation.
