At the Special Council Meeting on Monday, 3 November 2025, the Shire of Boddington adopted its 2025/2026 Budget, following unavoidable delays caused by external departmental processes. The Shire sincerely thanks the community for its patience and understanding throughout this period.
Despite these delays, the Shire remains committed to delivering key community priorities and progressing a diverse capital works program valued at $14.4 million, supporting growth, liveability, and local vibrancy.
The Town Centre Revitalisation will continue, with the development of 32 Bannister Road and upgrades to Central Park. These works will help transform the town centre into a more vibrant and welcoming destination for residents and visitors alike.
Aged accommodation also remains a major focus. The Shire is working closely with the appointed provider to finalise detailed design plans for the facility, paving the way for future construction and operation.
At the Boddington Caravan Park, construction of six new chalets will commence, expanding local tourism offerings and supporting a growing visitor economy.
Other important initiatives include the construction of a shared pathway from Boddington to Ranford, continued enhancement of the Tullis Rail Trail, and the finalisation of the Mountain Bike Trails. All part of ongoing efforts to promote outdoor recreation and community connection.
