Town Hall Car Park and Peppercorn Lane (Closed)

Town Hall Car Park and Peppercorn Lane
The Town Centre Revitalisation Masterplan highlighted the need to upgrade of the Town Hall Carpark and sealing Peppercorn Lane. The Town Hall Carpark Upgrade Project aimed to deliver essential infrastructure and amenity improvements to support increased community use of the Town Hall precinct.

Works included:

  • Installation of a new drainage system, water main, and fire hydrant.
  • Conduits for essential services, landscape irrigation, and a future electric vehicle (EV) charger.
  • Full sealing and asphalting of the car park.
  • New kerbing and line marking; installation of new light poles with solar-powered lighting.
  • Planting of trees to enhance the visual appeal and environmental sustainability of the site.

The Shire is grateful to the Australian Government for its commitment to supporting regional development and community wellbeing through the Growing Regions Program. We also acknowledge the contribution of Main Roads WA in their role as the funding program manager. This project is also supported by funding from South32 Worsley Alumina and the Shire of Boddington.
