The Boddington Town Centre Revitalisation Project has made significant strides in transforming the area along Bannister Road, primarily through the strategic planting of vibrant Crepe Myrtle trees. These trees were specifically chosen for their striking appearance and ability to provide much-needed shade for pedestrians, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of the streetscape.
The initiative not only focuses on beautifying the town but also emphasises environmental sustainability by increasing greenery and promoting biodiversity within the town centre environment. This project aims to create a more inviting atmosphere for both residents and visitors, encouraging foot traffic and community engagement in the heart of Boddington.
The revitalisation efforts are largely made possible thanks to funding from the Federal Government's Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program (LRCI).
