Traffic restrictions are in place to limit access to Peppercorn Lane across adjacent vacant lots towards Bannister Road. These restrictions are in place to help preserve the new kerbing along Peppercorn Lane.
Installation of lights and poles at the Town Hall carpark is complete, with four solar-powered lights now illuminating the car park. The lights automatically turn on when daylight fades, and after five hours, they dim to 20% brightness. If motion is detected, they return to full brightness. These lights do not require any wiring or electricity, enhancing security.
Asphalt has been laid at the Town Hall carpark and Peppercorn Lane, with line marking expected to be completed on Friday, 16 May. Reticulation, landscaping, and footpath paving are planned for the end of May. Traffic restrictions will remain in effect until work is complete.
