The Shire of Boddington has been successful in securing support from Department of Communities to treat our local volunteers to a complimentary breakfast!
Thank a Volunteer Day is Western Australia’s annual celebration for volunteers and encompasses:
- Recognising, celebrating and thanking volunteers for the vital role they play in the community;
- Reconnecting to what is important by giving our time to help others and ourselves, following a challenging and uncertain year; as well as
- Reimagining how we better support volunteers and the community they serve.
The Thank a Volunteer Day event is a closed-invite event for volunteers aligned with a community group, sporting club or not for profit organisation based within the Shire of Boddington.
