At its August meeting, Boddington Shire Council approved a Business Assistance Grant of $555 to local business SH and JE Maddern Family Trust, trading as The Sheds at 7 Assay Terrace.
The funding will go towards a CCTV security upgrade at their industrial storage facility on Assay Terrace. The total project cost is $1,100, with the Shire contributing 50% under the Business Assistance Grant Program.
The project will improve safety and security by upgrading camera infrastructure and enabling live remote monitoring. It aligns with the Shire’s goal to support crime prevention and create a safer local community.
The Business Assistance Grant Program supports local businesses to grow and contribute to the local economy. Grants of up to $5,000 are available year-round for eligible projects.
