Boddington’s second Business After Hours event for 2025 took place on Tuesday, 18 November 2025 at the Boddington Diner, attracting nearly 20 local business owners.
The evening offered an outstanding opportunity for local business owners to connect, exchange ideas, and strengthen community ties. Attendees gained valuable insights into upcoming projects, listened to an informative guest presentation, and enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere over a delicious meal.
Highlights of the event included:
- Addresses from the Shire President, Eugene Smalberger, and the Shire of Boddington CEO, Julie Burton.
- Information on the Business Assistance Grant from Sam Kempton, the Shire of Boddington's Community and Economic Development Coordinator.
- Updates from representatives of the Peel Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Peel Development Commission.
- A presentation on AI and business efficiency from Alison Bannister, Career Coach.
The event concluded with a lucky door prize and a selection of delicious desserts, making it a memorable evening for all attendees.
