Mahjong Club
Mahjong is a traditional tile-based game that originated in 19th-century China and has since become popular worldwide. Often compared to the card game Rummy, Mahjong typically has four players who take turns drawing and discarding tiles to form specific matching combinations. The game encourages strategic thinking, observation, and decision-making, while also allowing for an element of chance.
The Mahjong Club provides a friendly and inclusive space suitable for both beginners and experienced players. New players will receive assistance, and more experienced participants will have the chance to enhance their skills and engage in regular social play. The program aims to foster social connection, support cognitive engagement, and offer a relaxed and enjoyable activity within the Library setting.
All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is required to participate.
