Level Up 2026/27

Level Up is a new initiative that launched in July 2026, offering pop-up sports sessions for children and young people in Boddington.

Designed to complement the town’s strong sporting culture, Level Up provides opportunities for all young people, including those who may not typically participate in organised sport. Through a range of free physical and recreational activities, Level Up aims to remove barriers to participation while supporting confidence, skill development and social connection.

The community is encouraged to stay informed about upcoming sessions, with local clubs and groups invited to collaborate through Expressions of Interest with the Community Development team.

 

Gymnastics

Children and young people took part in fun and active gymnastics sessions delivered by Gymnastics WA, where they learned basic gymnastics skills in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Dance and Cheerleading

Children and young people participated in energetic dance and cheerleading workshops led by WA Allstars Dance Academy, learning choreography, movement, cheer techniques, teamwork skills and a variety of modern dance styles.

Wednesday, 30 September 2026 & Friday, 2 October 2026

 

Skating, Scooting and BMX

Young people joined Freestyle Now coaches at Hotham Park Skate Park, building confidence and developing new skills in skating, scooting, BMX and other skatepark activities in a fun and encouraging setting.

Tuesday, 29 September 2026 & Friday, 9 October 2026

 

The Level Up program is supported by the Government of Western Australia, the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport, and the Boddington Youth Centre.
