The Shire of Boddington is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Corporate Services team as a People and Culture Coordinator. This vital position will drive the effectiveness of our human resource management strategies, oversee payroll processes and ensure the successful implementation of the Shire's Work Health and Safety (WHS) program. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering a positive workplace culture, supporting our staff, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accurate and accessible human resource records, information and databases.
  • Developing, reviewing and implementing organisational policies and procedures for human resources practices.
  • Providing direction, support and advice in human resource management, including recruitment, training, performance management, and grievance resolution in line with legislation and Shire policies.
  • Ensuring compliance with legislative and organisational requirements for Work Health and Safety (WHS) by effectively implementing WHS Management plans, policies and procedures.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, coupled with exceptional administrative skills and a keen eye for detail, enabling the production of high-quality work. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with well-developed organisational abilities.

 

The position offers:

  • Salary package between $112,969 and $117,865 inclusive of superannuation, with a cash component up to $99,886.
  • 32 – 38 hours per week, across an 8-9 day fortnight with flexible working arrangements.
  • Excellent superannuation benefits, offering up to 18% with a 6% employee contribution.
  • Additional benefits, including salary sacrifice, free pool and gym access and 2 extra days of annual leave.
