Shire of Boddington is seeking a community-focused leader with a strong background in Local Government with proven leadership of at least three years Local Government experience as a CEO/senior executive level.
The position will oversee statutory responsibilities and deliver on strategic priorities working alongside a supportive Council and a dedicated team. Applicants who can demonstrate community and strategic leadership capabilities, with a thorough understanding of the Local Government regulatory environment, a strategic mindset, professional management of the Shire’s administration and corporate governance are invited to apply.
The position is offered under a performance based contract up to five years. An attractive remuneration package is offered and is to be set in accordance with the Salaries and Allowances Tribunal Band 4 (determination 1 July 2025). Salary and benefits are subject to negotiation and could include, but not limited to: base salary, superannuation, professional development, association membership fee and utilities. In addition, motor vehicle allowance, and housing in a Shire owned executive residence is available. Reasonable relocation expenses will be negotiated.
