William Street Crossing is temporarily closed to all traffic and will continue to be closed until 21 February 2024. This closure is integral to ongoing efforts to enhance critical infrastructure, encompassing concreting the crossing surface, strategically placing armour rock on the upstream and downstream sides, and undertaking necessary renovations to improve guardrails.
The project is progressing, with 70% of the earthworks already complete. The project team is currently preparing for the main concrete pour for the crossing, scheduled for the upcoming week.
