Holyoake’s Wheatbelt Prevention Tea, with support of the Shire of Boddington, will be conducting a workshop with stakeholders on Friday, 25 November at 10am to scope out the potential of a Shire of Boddington Community Wellbeing Plan (CWP).

A CWP is a two-year plan to increase community safety and strengthen social capital at a local level in a staged approach, provide a means for coordination between community groups and organisations, as well as recognise the role of the whole community in enhancing its health and wellbeing.

Representation so far is set to include Boddington WAPOL, Western Australian Country Health Service, Boddington Health Service, Boddington District High School, Boddington Community Resource Centre, Boddington Lions Club and Newmont.

Invitations have also been distributed to community groups, sporting clubs and other organisations calling for representatives to attend the workshop. To RSVP or for further information, contact the Shire.
