The Shire of Boddington advises that the following draft Local Planning Policy has been prepared and is out for public comment:
Local Planning Policy 14 – Signs and Advertisements has been amended and is now in draft form and available for public comment. The draft is a review of the current local Planning Policy and includes exemptions and development requirements. The Policy covers signs that are considered acceptable and therefore exempt from requiring planning approval as well as criteria for signs requiring planning approval. The draft Policy will apply to all proposed signs within the Shire of Boddington.
Submissions on the draft Local Planning Policy close at 4pm on Friday 10 November 2023. The draft Policy and submission forms can be found on the Shire of Boddington website: https://www.boddington.wa.gov.au/communityconsultation
The draft Policy can also be reviewed at the Shire of Boddington reception where you will also find submission forms which can be completed and lodged with the Customer Service Officers.
