The Boddington Lion’s Club and Shire of Boddington are once again teaming up to bring you Australia Day in Boddington on Thursday, 26 January 2023. This year’s event encourages everyone to reflect on our nation's story, respect the contribution that others make to our nation, and celebrate our place in the world. The day will commence with formal proceedings and free community breakfast at the Rodeo Grounds and follow through with a family fun day at Boddington Swimming Pool featuring free entry, inflatables, entertainment, live music and free food and drinks served throughout the day.
This year a shuttle bus will also be provided to create a seamless experience between both segments of the day. For those looking to patronise the entire day, it is encouraged to park at the Boddington Swimming Pool and catch the shuttle bus to the Rodeo Grounds. Services will be available every 15 minutes between 7.45am and 8.30am. Following the formal proceedings at the Rodeo Grounds, a return shuttle bus will depart Rodeo Grounds to the Swimming Pool every 15 minutes between 9.45am and 10.30am.
