Council Election (Making Your Vote Count)

Ballot papers not received by the Western Australian Electoral Commission by the time they collect from the Perth Post Office on Saturday morning will not be counted.

If you have not posted your ballot paper by Wednesday, 16 October 2019 it may not be received in time. However You can still make your vote count by delivering it to the Shire Council offices at any time, during office hours and up until 6 PM on Saturday, 19 October 2019.

If you have not received your ballot paper, or spoiled it, you can also apply for a new one at the Shire Council offices at any time during office hours and up until 6 PM on Saturday, 19 October 2019.

Counting of the ballot papers for the Council election will commence shortly after 6 PM on Saturday 19 October 2019, so make your vote count by ensuring it is received in time to be part of the count.
