TIP PASS REQUEST FOR RESPONSES

The Shire of Boddington is seeking feedback on a proposal to remove the restriction on the number of visits to the Boddington Refuse Disposal Site for residential landowners and tenants.

Currently, 4 tip passes are issued on an annual basis, with an opportunity being considered to allow owners and residents to have unlimited access the Tip to dispose of household rubbish.

The introduction of unlimited visits, and ability to issue tip passes to tenants, is likely to reduce the illegal dumping of household items which has both environmental and financial impacts.
Under the proposal, tenants will be eligible for a tip pass upon providing sufficient evidence of residing in the Shire.
