Recreation Centre Scoreboards Installed

Published on Tuesday, 27 September 2022 at 10:00:00 AM

The Boddington Basketball Club has worked diligently to install two electronic scoreboards at the indoor courts at the Boddington Recreation Centre. The Club was successful with the Shire’s LOAF (Local Organisation Assistance Fund, now known as the Community Grant Program), along with support from Newmont Boddington Gold and working collaboratively with the Boddington Netball Club to fund the project. The delivery of the project is well-timed with the 2022-23 season about to commence and games will now feature live scoring.

The Shire of Boddington’s Community Grant Program provides financial assistance to incorporated bodies to deliver projects and programs which deliver benefit to the local community and local economy to build an engaged, vibrant, inclusive and healthy community. Round 2 Applications will open from 31 October 2022, so this is the perfect time for Clubs and Community Groups to start planning ideas.

The Guidelines and Application Form are available from the Grants page on the Shire’s website. Applicants are also encouraged to book a 1:1 to help get you started!
