More entertainment has been confirmed for the Boddington Christmas Celebration taking place this weekend thanks to support of local residents, businesses and community groups. The Boddington Lion’s Club will once again be providing a sausage sizzle at this year’s event, along with the Boddington Community Markets adding value with the opportunity for the community to support local stall holders in the lead up to Christmas. The Boddington RRR and Boddington Arts Council will also be supporting the event behind the scenes. Local businesses have also been engaged this year with the Boddington IGA making a donation toward the event via their Community Chest Funding, and Boddington Post Office having donated their Santa Box for a letter writing station.

Santa Claus and Boddington’s very own Elf on the Shelf will also be making guest appearance on the night, along with live music will be performed by Peter Delle-Coste and Christmas Carols led by Jim Nelson. A-Bonza-Bounce are set to bring families, children and young people something new with the Bonza Blue water slide and Combo Bouncy Castle. Be sure to bring bathers, towel and a change of clothes!

The community are encouraged to bring their entries in for the Colouring and Gingerbread Competitions on the night. Entry forms are still available to collect in-person from the Shire of Boddington Administration and Boddington Library, or can be downloaded here.

The Shire of Boddington extends its appreciation to residents, community groups and local businesses for supporting this year’s Boddington Christmas Celebration.
