HOTHAM PARK CARKPARK CLOSED THURSDAY 17 DECEMBER 2020 The new carpark at Hotham Park will be closed all day Thursday 17 December, 2020 whilst concrete paths are being laid. The carpark is being closed for safety reasons with concrete trucks accessing the site. If you wish to visit the park, library or Rust Camp Oven Café and require car parking please use either roadside parking on Wuraming Avenue or the Old School carpark. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and apologise for the inconvenience however safety must be our first priority.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Development Michael McCormack has today announced that guidelines for Round 5 of the Building Better Regions Fund (BBRF) are available at www.business.gov.au/bbrf, meaning prospective applicants can now begin planning their project applications for assessment. Applications open on 12 January 2021 and close on 5 March 2021. Successful applicants are expected to be announced in mid-2021. To be eligible, applicants must be an incorporated not-for-profit, local government agency or body, or non-distributing co-operative and in an eligible location. Grants are on offer of between $5,000 and $10 million to cover 50% or more of eligible project costs: • $5,000 to $1,000,000 for the Community Investments Stream; and • $20,000 to $10,000,000 for the Infrastructure Projects Stream. The round has allocated $100 million of targeted support for tourism-related infrastructure, while maintaining $100 million for broader community infrastructure and investment. Applicants are encouraged to engage with their local Regional Development Australia (RDA) offices prior to preparing applications.
