NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT

RANFORD POOL (DARMINNING POOL) RESERVE RESTORATION

Public Comment is invited by 4:00pm Friday 2nd February regarding the plans to make improvements to Ranford Pool (Darminning Pool).

 

The Ranford Pool Reserve Restoration Project aims to enhance the experience of visitors to Ranford Pool by improving the amenities to users by stabilising the river banks, improving user access and safety,

restoring the ecological values of the Reserve and providing information about the cultural, heritage and environmental values of the area.

STAGE 1

  1. a) Community consultation and landscape design
  2. b) Obtain all approvals (Dept. of Heritage, Dept. of Water)

STAGE 2

Earthmoving, path construction, bank stabilisation and landscaping including garden beds, installation of kayak access steps, picnic tables and chairs

STAGE 3

Install information signs & official opening ceremony
